At Delta Coating & Linings we specialize in non-stick coating applications. With over 45 years of experience in the industrial metal coating industry, we understand the importance of non-stick applications in many different industries. This is one reason that Delta Coating & Linings is used and recommended by some of the largest manufacturers in the United States.
Non-Stick industrial coatings provide many benefits to a wide range of industries including medical, food and beverage, rubber manufacturing, and much more. Some of the benefits that non-stick coating applications are minimized machine downtime and reduced coefficient of friction. We also have coatings that meet the standards of ISO 9001 (2008), FDA, and PFOA-free coatings.
Delta Coating and Linings offers a wide variety of industrial coatings for a Non-Stick applications including PTFE, FEP, ETFE, and PFA. Choosing which coating you need for your specific application can be a difficult task, this is why we train our expert employees to assist with choosing the proper coating for your unique application. Below is a discretion of each coating that could be used in a non-stick application:
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a dry film lubricant that is most commonly used in cookware appliances and fabricated in bearings, pipe liners, valves, and pumps. Some of the features PTFE has are a high melting point, a slippery surface, and chemical resistance.
Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) is a dry film lubricate that is most commonly used for non-stick, chemical resistance, and corrosion-resistant coatings. FEP is a much softer dry film lubricant than PTFE because it melts during baking which makes it more easily formable. FEP provides a nonporous film with dielectric properties, heat resistance, toughness, and flexibility. This resin is mainly used for wiring applications.
Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE), is a dry film lubricant that is commonly used for non-stick and chemical-resistant applications. ETFE resulting finish coating is tough, seamless, and without pinholes which is perfect for applications in harsh chemical environments.
PFA is a powder coating that offers high-temperature chemical protection. This resin offers non-stick or release properties in high-temperature services and can comply with FDA regulations. PFA has mechanical toughness, offers good dielectric properties, and offers excellent chemical resistance.
